Safer Internet Day 2022
We take every opportunity throughout our curriculum to help children to learn ways that they can keep themselves and others safer in the real world and online.
Safer Internet Day is an opportunity for the whole school to focus on a key theme. We celebrated Safer Internet Day on 8th February 2022. We learned about staying safe when playing games online.
We worked together as a whole school to create a video for our website to share what we have learned to help other people to stay safer online. You can watch this video by clicking on this link.
We shared resources with families to help the children to share what they have learned at home and to support parent to talk to their child about online safety. A copy of these resources can be downloaded from the files section below.
Further information about our approach to safeguarding can be found on the Safeguarding page in the Key Information area of our website.
We encourage parents and children to support their children's learning about how to keep themselves safer at home. We encourage families to visit the CEOP website (Child Exploitation & Online Protection) www.thinkuknow.co.uk to build their knowledge of how to stay safe online. This website has lots of fun activities which children can gain vital information on staying safe.
