Music
All children have an opportunity to develop their Musical talent, creativity and self-confidence for performing through our Music curriculum. We use the Charanga Scheme of Learning to plan and deliver our Music lessons across the school. Children learn to listen carefully to pieces of Music from a range of different traditions and develop the technical vocabulary needed to share their appraisals of the music that they hear. We have class sets of Glockenspiels which the children use when composing, improvising and performing.
Many children also enjoy additional one-to-one and small group Music lessons with peripatetic music teachers from the Birmingham Music Service.
