Music

Kapow Primary Music helps pupils see themselves as musical and encourages a lifelong love of music. It builds the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to become confident performers, composers and listeners.

Pupils explore music from around the world, developing respect and appreciation for different traditions and communities. They also learn about the historical and cultural context of the music they hear and how music can be notated.

Alongside music, the scheme develops teamwork, leadership, creative thinking, problem-solving, decision-making and presentation skills that support learning in school and beyond.
