SIAMS Inspection – April 2019
We are delighted to share the outcome of our most recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS), carried out on 5th April 2019.
The inspection found that Moseley Church of England Primary School continues to live out its Christian vision of “Every child matters to God” in all aspects of school life, enabling every pupil and adult to flourish.

Highlights from the Report
“Leaders demonstrate the impact of the school’s practical vision, ‘every child matters to God’, in welcoming absolutely everyone... Consequently, everyone flourishes as an individual.”
“A parent observed, ‘You are simply embraced for who you are.’ Kindness and acceptance are experienced daily by everyone.”
“The school’s innovative work on a whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing is a great strength... It is valued by all and is transforming lives and learning for many.”
“Pupils live their deep understanding that everyone is unique and ‘difference is great’. They delight in the achievements of others, celebrating them in Friday worship.”
Inspectors praised our strong Christian ethos, inclusive environment, and the way our values underpin everything we do. Our pupils were recognised for their empathy, leadership, and advocacy — living out our vision through acts of kindness, courage and service to others.
They also commended the outstanding quality of Religious Education, describing it as “enthusiastically and knowledgeably led” and “adding noteworthy profundity and detail to the school’s inclusive vision.”
