YR Superhero Day

As part of our learning this week we had a Superhero Day! We have been reading Supertato and have been thinking about superheroes in our school, our local community, in history and, of course, our superhero selves!

For our Superhero Day we came to school dressed as superheroes and after lots of super photos opportunities had fun making superhero spoon puppets. We then saved the day in superhero city as we jumped, climbed through, under and over, spider walked, balanced and moved. There were lots of hazards and we had to work hard to avoid any obstacles. In the afternoon we used our superhero skills to make super potions to paint our outdoor area fence. It was a LOT of fun! Well done to all the Reception superheroes!

Our Values

We are guided and strengthened by our distinctively Christian values of Hope, Courage, Love, Thankfulness, Trust and Forgiveness. These values were chosen by our school community by reflecting deeply on the meaning of 6 key stories from the Bible. These values are nurtured and lived by all in our school community as we continue to learn and grow together.
