Join our 'Big Walk and Wheel'

So many of you already walk, scoot, cycle and ‘park and stride’ toschool regularly. We are well on our way towards our Bronze  Modeshift Stars award. Our participation in the Modeshift Stars accreditation programme is very much aligned with our school’s vision, ‘Flourishing together to serve.’ It encourages our children to understand the benefits of active travel; making long term lifestyle choices that will support their own health and serve our local and global community. For the next two weeks, we will be participating in the Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel. It is the UK's biggest walking, wheeling, scooting and cycling to school competition.Everyday we will be recording all of our active journeys to school with the possibility each day of winning prizes for school. We are already doing a brilliant job with our Walk to School initiative and these two weeks are an opportunity for children to try out different ways to get to school sustainably and really take notice of their journey to school. We are running a project for children to produce a piece of work based on their amazing journey to school (more details and ideas to follow).

Our Values

We are guided and strengthened by our distinctively Christian values of Hope, Courage, Love, Thankfulness, Trust and Forgiveness. These values were chosen by our school community by reflecting deeply on the meaning of 6 key stories from the Bible. These values are nurtured and lived by all in our school community as we continue to learn and grow together.
