At Moseley Church of England Primary School we regard education as a lifelong process. The curriculum provides a vehicle to deliver this process.
We aim to create positive attitudes to learning throughout our pupils’ formative years by providing a broad, balanced and enriched curriculum with challenging and fun experiences. Our desire is to encourage independence and intellectual curiosity which can be developed throughout life.
Our Christian ethos encompasses all aspects of school life where every individual is respected.
Through using the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) we have developed a more innovative curriculum to allow us to deliver more inspiring and challenging teaching and learning. Our new curriculum maximizes subject links and encourages children to have greater ownership of their learning.
Pupils’ progress is closely tracked to ensure that all children are challenged at an appropriate level and given necessary support to achieve their full potential.
'Creative Fridays' provide the opportunity for children to work with teachers and children from other classes, as well as several parent volunteers, on a Friday afternoon in a range of creative activities including singing, art and craft, and chess. Throughout the year they will have the opportunity to experience all of the activities on offer.
